My children like to tell me that I’m old. I’m the wrong side of 50.
What that has to do with the price of fish is that my age means that I have lots of experience. Lots of experience in writing.
My first ‘proper’ job was as a journalist; so was my second, and my third, and my fourth. My fourth was on the Liverpool Echo, where I stayed for 12 years before leaving and starting my own business.
Journalism taught me to write clearly and in a way which anyone can understand, whether they are 21 or 81. I use those skills now to help small business owners get their message across and explain in simple terms what it is they do and why they’re so good at it.
I love doing it because it allows me to combine two things I love: writing and helping people.
I love it when my writing helps a client explain to a potential customer what it is that puts them head and shoulders above the competition.
I love it when my writing helps a client get over their message in a way they’ve never been able to.
And I really love it when my writing helps a client win clients.
Outside of writing, I have an awesome wife, four fantastic children (even if they do tell me way too often that I’m old) and I’m an active Christian and blessed to be part of Jubilee Church Wirral.
If you even remotely think I can help you in any way, get in touch and we’ll have a Zoom chat or maybe (whisper it) actually meet up in person.
