Why bother with…

LinkedIn copywriting?

Because many more “leads” – people who want to work with you – are generated through LinkedIn than any other social media platform.

LinkedIn is the best social media platform for you if your target market is other businesses.

So if you’re an accountant, or marketing professional, or virtual assistant, or any number of other things then you really are missing out if you’re not on LinkedIn.

Here’s another simple fact: Lots of people find it a bit intimidating at first.
I know because I was one of them, until I learned how to use it properly.
Now it works brilliantly for me – and I can help it work brilliantly for you too.

I’ll write you a LinkedIn profile that will make people want to buy from you.

Your profile is your most powerful weapon on LinkedIn.

It includes a 2,600-character ‘About’ section in which you get to tell people what you do, why they should work with you and how to get in touch.

It’s the first thing that people look at if you send them a connection request, or if they are thinking of connecting with you, or if you make an interesting comment on someone else’s post.

It’s where you get to stand and shout “Look at me! I’m great! You really should work with me!” although not in such an obvious way, hopefully.

If it’s good, it can win you business on its own. If it’s not, it probably won’t.

Why work with me? I offer LinkedIn ‘About’ section writing not just because I’m good at it (I am) but because it saves people time and stress. Writing about our own businesses from an outsider’s perspective is never easy and we often miss out obvious things.

All I need from you is half an hour or so of your time to chat over the phone or on Zoom and I’ll do the rest.

Ready for more? I can write your posts, too.

A good LinkedIn post can lead directly to business, or at the very least an enquiry.

There is, however, a drawback.

Writing good LinkedIn posts on a regular basis – because you have to turn up regularly to exploit it fully – is a fine art. There’s a reason some posts have 283 comments and some precisely zero. It’s not just luck.

It’s also important to remember that just as a great post can win you great clients, an ill-judged post can lose you them too.

Why work with me? I offer LinkedIn post writing as a service because

I can work with as little or as much information as you’d like to give me, write as often or as sporadically as you’d like (I would recommend one post a week as a  bare minimum though) and we can meet or chat over new topics you’d like me to cover whenever you would like. Or I can come up with them myself.

Are you an expert in your field? Do you want to be seen as one?

People like experts. Especially when it comes to business.

And LinkedIn articles are a perfect way to position yourself as an expert in your field in front of the people who actually want to buy from you.

LinkedIn articles are essentially blogs by another name. They give you an opportunity to write about just about anything – whether it’s a case study of some work you’ve done, or a guide to how to use a piece of software.

You can add SEO keywords, respond to questions that you’re forever being asked, and generally let people know that you know what you’re talking about.

If you write good articles regularly, you’ll build up a subscriber list – people who, just by clicking the “subscribe” button, have declared themselves interested in what you’re writing about.

You don’t need me to tell you that these people are potential customers.

You might be thinking at this point that writing articles sounds like a great idea. You might also be thinking that you have absolutely no idea when you would find time to write them.

That’s where I come in. I’ve written articles on subjects as varied as accountancy law, the uses of hypnotherapy and how to pass the Level 3 Award In Education And Training.

You can trust me to write articles that won’t just position you as the expert you are, but will be easy to read, easy to understand and will make people want to work with you.
